ALYSSA DAMIANO, LCSW
She/Her/Hers
I am a master’s level clinician offering both in-person and telehealth sessions based in the Braintree office. I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Bridgewater State University and my Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University.
I have experience supporting individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, through roles as a case manager, career counselor, and crisis intervention worker for teens involved with state agencies. Most recently, I provided in-home family therapy and outpatient counseling in a community mental health setting. I have supported individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and interpersonal conflict.
My approach is strengths-based and collaborative, grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own life. Drawing on my training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), I integrate trauma-informed practices that promote safety, self-understanding, and growth. I bring a calm, grounded presence to therapy and strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore and heal at their own pace.
Outside the office, you can find me spending time with my two cats, exploring the outdoors with my camera, crafting, or getting lost in a good book or audiobook, recommendations are always welcome!
