Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Founder of The Verge Method™
Organizational Strategy & Growth
Chelsey O’Donnell is the founder and CEO of Verge Therapy, a multi-location mental health organization known for its strong clinical culture, thoughtful leadership, and commitment to delivering high-quality care to children, adolescents, and families.
A licensed mental health counselor by training, Chelsey founded Verge Therapy with the vision of building an organization where both clinicians and clients could thrive. What began as a single-provider practice has since grown into a multi-service, multi-location organization serving communities across Massachusetts.
Chelsey is known for her strategic and systems-oriented approach to leadership. Through hands-on experience building the organization from the ground up, she developed the operational and financial systems that allow Verge to scale while preserving strong clinical care, clinician well-being, and meaningful outcomes for clients.
Her work focuses on designing organizations that support both clinical excellence and long-term sustainability in mental healthcare. By aligning operational systems with clinician well-being and high standards of care, Chelsey has built a model that prioritizes both people and performance.
In addition to leading Verge Therapy, Chelsey is the creator of The Verge Method™, a framework designed to help therapy practice owners build strong, sustainable organizations rooted in financial clarity, operational discipline, and aligned leadership.
A former Division I athlete and lifelong coach at heart, Chelsey brings the same discipline, resilience, and team-centered leadership philosophy to building organizations that she once brought to the court.
Today, Chelsey continues to lead Verge Therapy’s growth while working to advance stronger systems and leadership across the mental health field.
