FATIMA MUFTI, M.A. CLINICIAN
I am a master’s level clinician providing in-person and virtual therapy at the Foxboro location. I believe that healing first starts with our relationship. I focus on building trust and creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you are free to be yourself. I strive to make this an experience where you feel seen, heard, and understood.
I received my bachelor’s and master’s in psychology from Boston University and my master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I completed my clinical internship at The Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan where I supported clients with various issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationships, and attachment wounds.
I specialize in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, OCD, and depression. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed and I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at in your healing journey and to be a supportive partner throughout. My hope is that you can better understand yourself, have healthier relationships, advocate for yourself, and feel empowered, confident, hopeful, and in control. Outside of work, you can find me playing and watching TV with my pugs, reading, and learning something new.
