Therapist

I am a Master’s level clinician offering in-person and telehealth therapy to children and adolescents out of the Braintree office. I received my Master’s degree in mental health counseling from Suffolk University. I specialize in working with adolescents as they transition from childhood to young adulthood; helping them navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, social dynamics, identity, and more. I have worked with youth previously in school-based, community-based, and other outpatient settings.

My approach to therapy is person-centered and I believe in tailoring treatment to each individual client. Some clients prefer a highly structured session with a pre-planned activity, while others need a safe space to vent freely to an objective third party. I am happy to meet you where you’re at. I try to incorporate clients’ interests, passions, and values into session as much as possible, whether that be through play, expressive art-based activities, or journaling prompts.

While my approach is flexible to the client’s needs, I rely heavily on evidence-based practices including DBT (Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance-Commitment Therapy), and mindfulness-based approaches. Regardless of modality, the foundation of my practice is always providing a compassionate, safe space for self-reflection and exploration.

Outside of session you can usually find me reading, doing arts-and-crafts, or taking long walks with my pitbull mix, Muffin.
