Therapist

I am a Master’s level clinician providing therapy. I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University and my bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst, where I concentrated in Creative Therapy and Psychology. My background has shaped my passion for combining traditional therapeutic approaches with creative and individualized ways of helping clients feel comfortable and understood. I have experience working in community-based mental health settings, in-home therapy, and outpatient therapy. I enjoy working with clients of all ages.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, creative, and flexible, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT-informed interventions, strengths-based and person-centered approaches, behavioral strategies, and play and expressive arts-based interventions. I believe therapy does not have to look the same for everyone, and I enjoy finding ways to make the process feel engaging and meaningful to each client. This may include conversation, art, games, movement, a client’s interests, or practicing skills together. I strive to meet clients where they are and create a space where they can explore difficult experiences at their own pace while building coping skills, confidence, and a greater understanding of themselves. At the core of my work is the belief that clients already carry strengths that can be built upon. I view therapy as a collaborative process and strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful goals

Outside of work, I enjoy photography, traveling to new places, creating art, and a good book. I am usually behind the camera or near the water.
