She/Her/Hers

Therapist

I am a licensed clinical social worker providing in-person and virtual sessions through the Braintree office. I received my MSW degree from the University of Georgia and my bachelor’s in psychology from Fairfield University. My work is client-centered and trauma-informed, drawing from past training and experience in EMDR (EMDRIA trained), solution-focused therapy, SMART (sensory motor arousal regulation treatment), TF-CBT, talk therapy, and in-home therapeutic services.

I have experience as a counselor in a private therapeutic school for adolescents who require social-emotional support embedded into the curriculum to succeed academically. Previously, I worked as an outpatient therapist in both private practice and community-based agencies. I enjoy working with a wide range of ages (3-75) and feel as though I am always learning new things both with and from all my clients.

I believe that everything can be approached as “us vs. the problem,” and when people feel less alone, they become more empowered to face life’s challenges. Some of the diagnoses I work with most frequently are: complex trauma, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, ASD/AuDHD, and attachment disorders. I approach my work with compassion, humor, and authenticity. It is my goal to create a safe space for everyone I talk to, and to work together as we navigate current struggles or hardship, past traumas, or work towards current goals.

When I am not at work, I can usually be found either in the mountains or by a body of water with my pup, Sunny. I love to run, travel, and explore local beach towns for the best coffee shops or smoothie spots. I have acquired a large houseplant collection that always seems to be growing (both in size and in the number of plants I sneak into my home). I love all sports and currently coach a high school basketball team.
