Senior Clinical & Operations Director Milton & Foxboro

Samantha O’Sullivan-Pickering serves as the Senior Clinical Director for Verge Therapy’s Milton and Foxboro offices, where she leads clinical operations and supports clinicians in delivering high-quality, thoughtful care. In this role, Samantha works closely with the Chief Clinical Officer and leadership team to ensure that Verge’s clinical standards, supervision structures, and training initiatives are implemented consistently across the organization.

Samantha plays a key role in supporting Verge’s clinical infrastructure as the practice grows. She helps lead the rollout of clinical consultation groups, training initiatives, and clinician development opportunities designed to strengthen both individual clinical skill and overall clinical culture. She is also actively involved in implementing The Foundations Method, Verge’s clinical framework for working with children, adolescents, and families.

Through her leadership, Samantha helps ensure that clinicians across her offices have access to strong supervision, collaborative consultation, and the guidance needed to navigate complex clinical work with confidence. Her work bridges clinical leadership and day-to-day practice, helping translate Verge’s clinical vision into practical support for clinicians and consistent standards of care for clients.

In addition to her leadership role, Samantha is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults through both in-person and telehealth sessions. Her clinical work draws heavily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other strength-based approaches that support clients in developing greater emotional regulation, self-understanding, and connection in their lives.

Samantha has worked in the mental health field for over a decade. Her experience includes clinical work at McLean Hospital SouthEast’s adolescent Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), emergency services with Riverside Community Care, and in-home therapy through the Justice Resource Institute. She later worked at a therapeutic residential school before transitioning into outpatient practice.

Samantha earned her Master of Social Work from Boston University and remains deeply committed to supporting both clients and clinicians through thoughtful, collaborative care.
