Intake & Scheduling Specialist

Spencer is often one of the first people clients connect with when beginning their journey at Verge Therapy. He is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive experience and understands that taking the first step towards therapy can feel overwhelming. With a calm, compassionate approach, Spencer is dedicated to helping individuals and families feel comfortable, heard, and confidently connected with the clinician who best meets their needs.

Prior to joining Verge Therapy, Spencer spent 13 years working in educational settings, supporting children and adolescents with learning, social, and emotional challenges. This experience provided him with a deep appreciation for the unique strengths and needs of every individual, as well as the importance of empathy, patience, and meaningful connection.

In addition, Spencer brings more than 20 years of customer service and client experience from his time at Landry’s Bicycles. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for building trusting relationships, providing thoughtful guidance, and ensuring every person feels valued and supported.

His combined background in education and client care allows him to approach the intake process with both professionalism and genuine compassion.

Outside of work, Spencer enjoys playing guitar, hiking in Sedona, and spending time with his rescue dog, Gigi.
